I’ve got good news and bad news.

The Good News: The best client I’ve ever worked with is hiring an in-house copywriter. If you’re young and hungry and want to build your book quickly, or even old-and-cynical and just don’t want to put up with any more dumbass comments like “That’s too edgy,” this is the gig for you. I’ve been in this business for 20 years, and I’ve never worked with someone more willing to let a writer off the leash than this client. He’s batshit crazy, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

The Bad News: Basically, you’re getting the gig because I am currently unable to manipulate the space-time continuum and be everywhere at once. He needs a me-clone. Which makes you my bitch. Subject to my whims. Moods. Flights of fancy. Rages. I may even tell you how to dress. I haven’t decided. Because I am an arbitrary and cruel master, with a penchant for sentence fragments. Let’s practice: “I love your work. You suck! You’re the best. Begone from my sight!” See?

The Worse News: Like I said, it’s an in-house gig. Which means you’re also my client’s bitch. And, as mentioned before, he’s crazy. Not “shortwave-radio-signals-in-his-molars”-crazy, but “have-a-new-idea-every-thirty-seconds”-crazy for sure. So you’ll be running from project to project, never quite finishing anything, at which point he’ll ask you why you haven’t finished, and then he’ll send whatever you’ve done to me to finish. And then I’ll call and rip you a new one. (With love. With love.)

The Other News That May Or May Not Be Bad, Depending On Your Opinion.

Again, it’s an in-house gig. And this particular house is in a warehouse-like building in South San Francisco where no one will hear your screams. Not wildly transit-convenient - about 1 mile from BART, but hey, it’s sunny.

The Part About You:

Maybe you have experience. Maybe you don’t. I don’t really care. In fact, I’d rather hear that you waited tables or tended bar than that you interned at a big-name agency last summer. I do, however, need you to have an actual portfolio or You CAN send me a blog post or two. Maybe some funny tweets, or a list you made on Buzzfeed. Whatever. Student work is fine, as long as it’s good. Don’t send me your impassioned letters, your drunk emails, or your short stories. Show me your #$&ing advertising/marketing/branding work. If I like it, you’ll get paid to do more of it. You’ll be proud of every single thing you write. You’ll also get whipped into shape like never before. We move fast. We don’t make you sit in endless meetings. We just go. (Often, at full speed, into a brick wall. But I digress.) So you need to be able to grasp concepts and go, without having your hand held. You have to know the rules of grammar well enough to be comfortable napalming them into ashes. You have to be very familiar with this “internet” thing the kids are so into. You have to have a serious work ethic - again, people with restaurant experience highly preferred. You’ll also need a thick skin, and a sense of humor. A car would probably help, but you can show up on a riding lawnmower for all we care.

The Part About Us

We’re Eat24, and we make food happen in hundreds of cities across America, from over 20,000 different restaurants. See, as much as most people would love to come home every night and cook an organic, free-range meal, life tends to get in the way. Eat24 moves it out of the way and makes delivery or takeout happen. That means people get fed, and more importantly, get an hour or two of their lives back. They don’t just appreciate us for this - they love us beyond reason. Which is why we need an extraordinarily unique voice. Hopefully, yours.

A ni z dvema pomišljajema že v nevarnosti, da ga google tretira kot spam zaradi vseh tistih kako-zasluziti-tono-zlata-medtem-ko-ste-na-wcju.com.

Nope. Mal bosa bi bla, če bi google sam na podlagi tega označeval site kot spam.

Jst bi vzel z minuski, če sta več kot dve besedi (razen, če je ena res kratka, 2-3 črke).
