**Forums, Article directories, Shopping Results and Q&A sites*
In general, there are certain types of sites that I like to see in the search engine results because they are typically not optimized or promoted very well. Some of these sites include forums, article directories, shopping results, and Q&A sites (like Yahoo answers, answerbag.com, etc.).
Forumstend to cover various deep niche topics and will often show up in the
results; however, they are rarely optimized for the specific term you are trying
to rank for. They simply mention your keyword in passing or possibly within
the title tag of a discussion topic. You will also rarely see any backlinks to
these types of forum results.
Article Directories may rank well because a marketer has mentioned the
keyword specifically in the title tag and the overall strength of the directory will
cause it to rank well. Common article directories are Ezinearticles.com,
ArticleDashboard.com, GoArticles.com, and dozens more. These articles are
usually quite easy to outrank because it is also very rare that any backlinks are
built to these pages. They usually just rank based on mentioning the keyword
and the root domain has a high PR.
Shopping results again are not usually promoted with any backlinks built to the
resulting page.
Yahoo Answers and other question and answer websites are very similar to
forums and so the same lack of strength mentioned above applies here.*
Upam, da bo to pomagalo še komu ;)
