Zanima me ali ima kdo kakšne izkušnje z adsense v facebook aplikacijah.

Politika je na obeh straneh zelo mračna... Eni govorijo ja, drugi ne...

Facebook ni ravno najboljši prijatelj Googla... njegovi ponudniki reklame pa niso kaj dosti vredni... Ali kdo od vas uporablja adsense prek iframe... Baje je treba celo dobiti neko dovoljenje od googla... Ima kdo s tem izkušnje?

Ads in Web-Based Applications

Overview

Web-based applications could be web-based chat application, Facebook applications, or any other type application that is not a standard website. The problem with applications is that we are not able to crawl them and to target ads correctly, oftentimes meaning that publishers revert to problematic implementations such as ads in iframes or Google Page URL. Investigation into these cases can be extremely tricky, since it requires logging into Facebook and analysing complicated frame in frame scenarios. Also, with AFC advertisers are not opting in to having ads shown in applications.

Our policy: We do not nor have we ever allowed ads to be served within software applications, which is stated in our policies. This includes, but is not limited to: toolbars, widgets, extensions, client side software, Facebook applications, etc.

What’s happening: Partners found to be engaging in this behavior, (especially those who make the majority of their revenue in this serving environment), will be subject to large deductions and disabling.

Rationale:

This breaks our ad targeting systems, among other things, and also can open up vulnerabilities which can enable partners to inflate their revenue artificially.

Next Steps:

If we come across sites with ads in apps implemented, the AdSpam team will be debiting accounts or terminating these partners.

Facebook Applications

In the past we did tolerate ads in FB apps and even enabled hints to help them with their targeting. However, due to targeting concerns, advertiser escalations, invalid clicks, and our general policy of disallowing ads to be placed in iframes, we have decided to prohibit this type of ad placement.

Other web-based applications

These have never been allowed per policy, and publishers placing ads in these type applications face their accounts being disabled and their ad serving URL being disabled.
